Funginal®: The prebiotic powerhouse for dogs
Funginal® is a novel pet food product based on proprietary mushroom mycelium fermented on rye.
The medicinal fungi species used is the Agaricus blazei Murril originating from the Brazilian rain forest. This mushroom has been widely recognized for its health promoting properties including prebiotic, antioxidant and immunomodulation effects. Funginal® is produced by a patent protected fermentation method which enhances the nutritional value of the raw material. Sugars are broken down and protein quality improves.
Formulated to improve your pet’s gut health
- High in rye fiber which contribute to a bowel function.
- Fermented rye which is easier to digest and absorb.
- Prebiotic effect contributing to the growth of commensal bacteria in the gut. Packed with beta-glucan but also fructan and arabinoxylan.
- High in calcium which contributes to the functioning of the digestive enzymes.
- Reduces Salmonella and E.Coli in the gut.
A feed ingredient with a very low inclusion level: 0.1 – 0.2%
